Celebration of Independence Day
India’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated in Akal Academy Balbehra with great pomp and show where students’ faculty and teachers paid tribute to the nation and freedom fighters. The celebrations started with flag hoisting by the Principal, Mrs. Meera Verma followed by the National Anthem. Heart touching skit was presented by the students of 6th to 9th classes. A speech was delivered by a student’s of 8th class to highlight the details of Indian’s struggle for freedom, Play & choreography performances spell bounded the audiences. The principal congratulated the audience on this day and guided the students to be honest, punctual and devoted to their work and nation. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and sweets were distributed to all the students and staff members.
