Celebration of 78th Independence Day

Akal Academy Chak Desraj celebrated 77 Independence day
with great patriotic spirit enthusiasm and gratitude. This day
marks India's liberation from British colonial rule. This day
reminds us of the sacrifices and courage all men women took to
free our country from the Britishers. So we should pay tribute to
freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the sake of
mother and Independence day is a significant occasion that
fosters patriotism and unity among citizens. It present an
excellent opportunity to learn about their nation's history values
and heritage. A sense of pride and happiness could be seen on
the faces of the students. Every student was excited to celebrate
the day. The event started with prayer at 8 o'clock. All the
teachers and principal were sitting on the chairs. Program started
with the poem of 1st class students. Students of the four houses
presented their activities with passion. Skit on Jallainwala Bagh
by Atul House attracted the attention of all the audience and was
declared the best item of the day. Ajay House presented skit on
Power of constitution made everyone emotional. Principal
Madam also delivered a speech on how we got freedom. After
listening her speech, we felt proud of our ancestors who
sacrificed to get freedom. At the end of the program all the
students were given sweets
