Independence day celebration
On 13 August 24, Akal Academy Basarke celebrated an Independence day with great pomp and show. The school campus was nicely decorated with flags, flowers and balloons to commemorate the day. All the students wore white uniform. First of all the teachers and students gathered for national flag hoisting which was done by the Principal Madam Miss Goldy. Everyone recited shabad and national anthem. Students from grade Nursery to XII presented various activities. Students delivered speeches with great passion. Patriotic poems and songs were recited by the students. Choreographies and skits were also staged by the students. At the end of the program principal madam shared her views with the children about the importance of independence day and appreciated them for their performances.
