Inter House Activities- Spelling Bee competition and Extempore

Inter House Spelling Bee Competition was organized in Akal Academy Holi–Barara on 20 August, 2024. Learning a language is the foremost step in the life of a child as it helps him/her to communicate with the world and a school plays a vital role to train the child in this direction.
An Inter- House SPELL BEE activity was held in the campus of Akal Academy Holi, Barara for grade-Nur.to V, with an aim of creating awareness of the possibilities of using varied words/sounds.
Grade VI onwards, students participated in Public Speaking (Extempore) / Group Discussion ; in which the students were given topics related to their surroundings and current situations.
All the students participated in the activities with great zeal.
These type of activities enhance the spelling and literary skills of children by encouraging them to explore the *English language*, expand their vocabulary and improve their communication and comprehension skills and help them to build-up their self- confidence in public speaking.
