At Akal Academy Raipur Peer Baksh Wala, Mock Parliament
and & Know Your Country competition were held on Saturday,
August 3, 2024. These competitions were conducted house-wise,
and students from all houses participated. Students from grades
four to six took part in the Know Your Country competition. In this
competition, students were asked various questions about the
states of India, their capitals, Indian culture, attire, dances,
languages, and more, and the students answered these questions
very proficiently. In this competition, Abhay House secured the
first position, Amul House secured the second position, and Atul
House secured the third position. The main objective of this
competition was to make the children well-informed about their
country. Subsequently, students from grades nine to twelve
participated in the Mock Parliament activity. In this activity,
students from all four houses participated together and presented
the entire process of passing a bill in Parliament very
systematically in front of the students. Madam Principal Sonu
Sharma encouraged the teachers to keep organizing such
competitions so that the children could gain good knowledge
about their country. She also motivated the students to increase
their knowledge and participate enthusiastically in such
competitions.
