Akal Academy celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and reverence on September 5th, 2024. The event was organized to honor the relentless dedication and contributions of teachers towards shaping the future of the students. The celebration took place in the school premises, with students & staff, to make the day memorable.
The program began with a special assembly where students paid homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across the country. The assembly included prayers, speeches, and tributes emphasizing the role of teachers as pillars of society.
Students organized cultural performances such as Poems, songs, and skits, which reflected the importance of education and the significant role of teachers in shaping minds. Some students even performed role-plays, imitating their favorite teachers, which added a humorous and touching element to the celebration.
The Principal of Akal Academy Khichipur Mrs. Sunita Kapil addressed the gathering and expressed gratitude to the teaching faculty for their tireless efforts in providing holistic education to the students. She praised the teachers for their resilience, especially during challenging times, and encouraged them to continue inspiring young minds with their passion and dedication.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, delivered by a senior student, acknowledging the profound impact teachers have on students’ lives.
