At Akal Academy, Benra, the teachers’ day was celebrated with awe- inspiring gusto and zeal. The day commenced with a special assembly where teachers performed all duties like recitation of nit em gurbanis, ardas, thought of the day and news headlines etc.
Students formulated a special program in which they complimented their favorite teachers and thanked them for lighting the path of knowledge for them. A cooking contest was also organized in which students cooked the most liked dishes for their teachers to relish.
Fun games were also organized for teachers to add excitement and joy to the event. At closing, luscious treats were offered to the most passionate members of the society who put their untiring efforts to build a prosperous nation.
