Baba Sri Chand was the founder of the Udasi sect of ascetic sadhus. According
to Sikh sources, he was born on September 8, 1494 and died on January 13,
1629. Thus, he was 134 years old at the time of his death. He is also called Baba
Sri Chandra or Bhagwan Sri Chandra.
To celebrate the day our academy recited the Shri Sukhmani Sahib ji Path on
20th September 2024. Our Music teacher Ms. Rupinder Kaur and students from
Grade VIII recited the path. Students from Grade VII recited the Shabad kirtan
which was followed by the Ardas by Manjot Singh from Grade VIII. It was very
soulful day for all.
