AKAL ACADEMY MANDER DONA CELEBRATES TEACHERS’ DAY WITH ENTHUSIASM AND GRATITUDE
On September 5th, 2024 – Akal Academy Mander Dona, under the auspices of Kalgidhar Trust, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervor and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the dedication and hard work of their teachers. The event was marked by heartfelt speeches, thoughtful gestures, and fun activities, filling the school environment with love and happiness.
The program started with the chanting the name of waheguru by soulful shabad kirtan. Then followed by an address by the honourable Principal, Ms. Manjit Kaur Mahal, who wished all teachers on the occasion and emphasized the importance of their role in shaping young minds. Activity Incharge and art teacher, Ms. Baljeet Singh, had assembled “Gratitude Walls” on different floors of the academy, where students expressed their feelings and appreciation for their teachers through heartfelt messages.
In a touching gesture, all staff members presented handmade cards to Principal Mam, courtesy of Ms. Baljeet Singh. Students also showered their teachers with gifts and presents, showcasing their love and gratitude.
Ramnik Kaur of 9th grade delivered a poignant speech highlighting the significant contribution of teachers in shaping young minds. The students then presented an amazing act, prepared by Ms. Manvir Kaur and Mr. Baljeet Singh, which focused on providing love and care to the underprivileged. The heartfelt performance portrayed the importance of education for the growth of the nation, emphasizing the need to provide education to the unprivileged people.
The senior students organized an impressive event, paying tribute to the teachers by giving them various tags/titles such as “Zealous,” “Enthusiastic,” “Meticulous,” and “Versatile” etc. The program included fun games, including the classic “Musical Chairs,” and an open mic session where students expressed their love and appreciation for their teachers.
The celebration was a testament to the strong bond between teachers and students at Akal Academy Mander Dona, and served as a reminder of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the future of their students.
