Akal Academy Mander Dona Girls’ Football Team Shines with Multiple Achievements
The Akal Academy Mander Dona Girls’ Football Team recently secured a bronze medal at the Inter-Academy Girls’ Football Tournament at Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, on October 6-7, 2024. Their stellar performance also earned them a spot in the upcoming state-level competition. Previously, the team won gold at the Zonal Level Girls’ Football Tournament organized by Khelo Watan Punjab in Phagwara.
Principal Manjit Kaur Mahal commended the team’s achievements, expressing hope for their success at the state level and beyond. The team received their medals and certificates from Dr. Baba Davinder Singh Ji (President Kalgidhar Trust) and Dr. Neelam Kaur Ji (Advisor, Health and education).
