Parkash Gurpurav of Shri Guru Ram Das ji
On 19 October, 2024 all the students and staff members of Akal Academy, Teja Singh Wala celebrated the Prakash Purav of Shri Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh Guru with great enthusiasm and devotion. The occasion was marked by a series of spiritual events, including the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib, Kirtan of Anand Sahib, the distribution of krah parshad and organized glimpses from sikh History.
The program began with the recitation of Japji Sahib then Sukhmani Sahib, a sacred prayer composed by Guru Arjan Dev, which is revered for its soothing and calming effects.
After Sampurta Ardaas, Academy organized the Glimpses from Sikh History as we know that is great way to explore Sikh traditions and culture. This ceremony is an important milestone in a Sikh’s life. We are honored to celebrate the Prakash Purav of Shri Guru Ram Das, who is an inspiration to all of us His teachings of love, compassion and service to humanity are a beacon of hope for us.
