Nagar kirtan by Akal Academy Raipur Peerbaksh Wala on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Parkash Purab On October 26, 2024,
Saturday, Akal Academy Raipur Peer Baksh wala organized a Nagar Kirtan before celebration of Sri Guru Nanak Dev
Ji's Prakash Purab. The Nagar Kirtan commenced from Akal Academy Raipur Peer Bakshwala and traveled through
the villages of Raipur Peer Bakshwala, Ibrahimwal, Nadala, Jagga, Lakhanke Padda, Bamuwal, Mana Talwandi,
Khassan, Littan, Pandori Araiyan, Pandori Rajputan, and Bhulath before returning to Akal Academy Raipur Peer
Bakshwala. The Panchayats of each village, the committee members of local Gurdwaras, and the congregation
warmly welcomed the Nagar Kirtan. The Nagar Kirtan was led by Akal Academy's band team with deep devotion,
while the students showcased their skills in Gatka (Sikh martial art) and Shabad Kirtan, delighting the congregation.
Along the way, the sangat (community) set up various langars (community kitchens) and served the attendees with
great reverence and dedication.At each location, the Panchayats and committee members honored Principal Madam
Sonu Sharma Ji with robes of honor (saropa), while she, in turn, presented robes of honor as tokens of gratitude.
Madam Principal sincerely thanked the entire congregation of each village for their support and requested their
continued cooperation in future activities organized by the Academy.
