Drug Awareness Week
Akal Academy Bilga participated in Drug
Awareness Week that was held in the last week
of October. Special morning assembly was
conducted in which students delivered the
speech.
On 29october, 2024 an anti drug campaign was
organized by Akal Academy Bilga. The motto of
the event was to spread awareness among
people of young age about abuses of drugs. The
rally started with the permission of the principal
Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Sahni by hosting the green
flag. Students of grade VI to VIII participated in
the event. They went to the nearest villages. In
Umarpur village students of class X beautifully
performed a Punjabi play KUNDI, which gave a
great message to all the audience about the bad
impact of drugs. People of the village warmly
welcomed the students and provided them
refreshment. They appreciated the efforts of Akal
Academy. Mr. Manpreet singh & Mrs. Ritu bala
thanked people with warm words and encourage
them to become baptized and give a great
contribution in decline of drugs in Punjab.
