Akal Academy Dakra Sahib Celebrates Guru Purab with Enthusiasm
November 15, 2024: Akal Academy Dakra Sahib organized a grand event to commemorate Guru Purab. The staff, students, parents, and local residents participated wholeheartedly.
The program began with Shabad and Kirtan, followed by various competitions, including poetry recitation, drawing, and handwriting. The winners were felicitated by Principal Mandeep Kaur.
An exhibition showcasing students’ artistic talents in science, social science, and Punjabi was also organized.
Chief guests included Mrs. Maninder Kaur and Mrs. Harpreet Mehta from the Chandigarh Regional Office, Journalist Tinku from Taj Mohammad, Sarpanch Narayanpur Amarjit Singh, and Narayanpur Numberdar.
Baba Mola Ji and Jathedar Veerji Amarjit Singh extended their support. Principal Mandeep Kaur thanked everyone and presented Siropa (a token of appreciation) to the guests.
School Coordinator Heena Sharma shared information about Akal Academy’s achievements in the annual report 2024-25.
The success of the event was made possible by the efforts of Vishali Kansal, Beant Kaur, Anoop Kaur, Gurdeep Kaur, Renu Rani, Jaspal Kaur, Neha Bhatti, Anil Prabha, Harshit Dhiman, Tejinder Singh, Saurav, Maninder Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, Sonia, Puja, Rajni Bala and all teachers.
