Today on October 30, 2024, a bicycle rally was organized by the students of Akal Academy Kamalpur under the leadership of Principal Amandeep Kaur, in which the children visited eight villages of Kamalpur, Kheri, Bhoje Majra, Bhalyan, Silo Moscow, Jhalian, Mahala and Mansuha. The students gave a message to the people not to burn straw and celebrate Diwali without pollution. The residents of the city also showed full enthusiasm towards this and Gurdwara Pradhan Sardar Jujhar Singh ji in Kheri village, Gurdwara Pradhan Sahib in Silo Moscow and the residents of the city also arranged tea and water for the children on the way. The children told about the main cause of pollution through poems, speeches and slogans and told about the ways to get rid of it. So it is hoped that Punjab will be pollution free in the near future and children will also be encouraged to celebrate Hari Diwali by not bursting crackers. On this occasion Academy teachers Jagtar Singh, Barinder Singh, Hardeep Singh and Rajinder Singh were also present.
