POULTRY FARM
Poultry farming is the form of animal husbandry which raises
domesticated birds such as chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese to
produce meat or eggs for food. Poultry farming is an environmentally
friendly agricultural practice and contributes to the GDP of many
countries.
As per the New Education Policy of CBSE, Students of Grade 9 of Akal
Academy Navan Pind Sujanpur visited at Harjit Sandhu Poultry
Farm, Kotli, Pathankot (PB).
There we got hands on learning experience of how the layers are reared
for egg production.
How the poultry shelter is maintained.
