Campaign Against Drug Addiction
Walkathon on the Awareness of Drug Addiction was organised for two days
i.e. 29/11/2024 (Friday) and 30/11/24 (Saturday). It was done under the
guidance of The Kalgidhar Trust Bru Sahib. Rallies were organised for the
villages Dhani Pind, Maheru, Daduwal, Samrai, Jandiala and Jandiali Pind,
against "Drug Addiction". The rallies were welcomed by the village
panchayats and they fully cooperated.
With special permission Rally went to the Govt. Senior Secondary School
Dhani Pind and Primary School Samrai. Our students played a skit there
regarding drug addiction. Their Principal and staff members appreciated
the skit very much and praised the students and the healthy step of Our
Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib.
Different slogans were raised by the students against drugs, loudly in the
villages. The panchayats arranged refreshment for the students and
teachers. The villagers praised the rallies and this initiative by our Principal
Ms. Ravinder Jit Kaur. The media also helped us to spread this message.
Every village gave a positive response for this great campaign.
