Gurmat Event Honoring the Martyrdom of Sahibzadas Organized at Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan
Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan, under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, held a heartfelt Gurmat ceremony to commemorate the unparalleled sacrifices of the four Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The event aimed to instill the values of bravery, faith, and devotion among the students and staff.
The academy campus was transformed into a spiritual and educational hub, with students and staff members creating visually impactful display boards narrating the story of the Sahibzades’ martyrdom. The day unfolded with a series of soul-stirring activities, including Gurbani recitals, Shabad Kirtan, Kawisharia, Dhadi War, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt religious poetry, all dedicated to the heroic sacrifices of the Sahibzadas.
In her address, Principal Madam Anuradha Babbar emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from our rich history. She stated, “The lives of the Sahibzadas teach us to stand unwaveringly against oppression and injustice. Their sacrifices are a timeless inspiration for all of us.”
The event concluded with a collective Ardas (prayer) for the well-being of humanity and a renewed pledge by the attendees to follow the path of righteousness as shown by the Sahibzadas.
