Cricket Tournament 2025 at Akal Academy Khamanon
On April 7, 2025: observing the `World Health Day’ Akal Academy hosted an exciting inter house cricket tournament featuring its four houses: Ajay house, Abhay house, Atul house and Amul house. The event kicked off at 10 am with a spirited sports-oath taken by all participants setting the tone for a day of fair-play and enthusiasm .The students also pledged to keep away and not endorse any sort of drugging activities in their lives ever. The tournament saw intense competition as each house showcased their cricketing skills and teamwork. After a series of thrilling matches. Abhay house emerged victorious clinching the title of Champions with an outstanding performance. Atul house put up a strong fight and secured the runners up position. Amul and Ajay houses also displayed commendable efforts making the event a grand success. The day concluded with a brief speech by the Principal Mrs. Amariit Kaur who congratulated the winners and commended all participants and the organisers of the event for their dedication and spirit. She emphasised the importance of sports in building character among students. The tournament ended on a high note leaving everyone with memories of a well fought contest.
