Today, the holy festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great pomp and show at Akal Academy Santgarh. On this occasion, the students presented Shabad Kirtan, Kavishari, poems and religious songs. The students expressed their views on the history and importance of Baisakhi. Special speeches were also given by the teachers and the Principal Madam, who gave detailed information about the creation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699. There was a sense of spirituality and enthusiasm in the entire atmosphere during the ceremony.
