The khalsa sajna Diwas was celebrated at Akal Academy Raipur Peerbux Wala with great devotion
and enthusiasm.The day was started with the nitnem, after that bhog of eight Sehaj path was
conducted. Students from various classes recited poems , shabads and Kvisharies about the
importance of the establishment of Khalsa panth. Principal ma'am delivered speech about the
history and establishment of Khalsa panth and also guided students to follow the teachings of Sikh
gurus.
Along with this Dastar bandi competition was also organized. The aim was to create love for
turbans in the minds of students, respect was to be instilled and they were to be made aware of the
greatness of the turban. Students participated under two groups in this competition.
First group:- grades 6th to 8th
Second group:-grades 9th to 12th
Students of different houses from classes 6th to +2 secured positions. Principal ma'am Miss Sonu
Sharma explained the importance of turban to the students . At the end of the whole Diwan, the
children recited the six pauries of Anand Sahib and after the ardas, Prasad was served.
