World Earth Day Celebration at School
Today, we have celebrated World Earth Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring and protecting
our beautiful planet. Observed every year on April 22, Earth Day is a global reminder of our collective
responsibility to safeguard the environment for present and future generations.
Theme for 2025: Planet vs. Plastics
This year’s theme emphasizes the urgent fight against plastic pollution. As a school, we stand
together to say no to single-use plastics and yes to a cleaner, greener future.
Our Celebration Activities:
Morning Assembly: A special speech and pledge to protect the Earth.
Tree Plantation Drive: Students planted saplings around the school campus.
Poster-Making Competition: Creative artwork with eco-friendly messages.
Eco-Quiz: Fun and educational quiz on environment-related topics.
Cleanup Campaign: Students cleaned their classrooms and school grounds.
Why It Matters:
By participating in these activities, students learn the importance of environmental conservation and
sustainable habits. We aim to inspire young minds to become responsible global citizens who care
for nature.
Let’s remember:
"We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."
Together, lets take small steps today that lead to a big impact tomorrow.
Happy Earth Day!
