Chandigarh Tour Organized by Akal Academy Raipur Peer Bakhshwala
On Monday, April 14, 2025, Akal Academy Raipur Peer Bakhshwala organized a tour to Chandigarh
for students and teachers under the leadership of Principal Madam Sonu Sharma.
The tour began with a visit to Gurdwara Nada Sahib, where the students listened to soulful kirtan
and had langar. After this, the group proceeded to Chokhi Dhani, a Rajasthani-themed resort in
Panchkula. There, the students enjoyed a variety of cultural performances, including a magic show,
puppet show, Rajasthani dance, and folk music.
At Chokhi Dhani, the students also had fun riding camels and experiencing various amusement rides.
Lunch was also served at the resort. The students got a glimpse into Rajasthani culture and learned
more about its rich traditions.
On their return journey from Chandigarh, the group stopped in Jalandhar for dinner at Bombay
Buffet. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Principal Madam Sonu Sharma assured the
students that such educational trips would continue to be organized in the future, providing them
with opportunities to learn not only through academics but also by exploring historical sites and
Gurdwaras across Punjab.
