Vaisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Akal Academy Ubhia. The event aimed to immense students in the rich cultural heritage of Punjab commemorating the harvest festival with various traditional activities. The day began with the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib ji path and Shabads. The special morning assembly was conducted where students as well as teachers shared their views regarding history of this festival and sacrifice of sikhs.
The competitions like Dastar Bandi competitions and Gurmet Quiz were organised. H.M. gurjit Kaur encourged the students for thier good efforts.
