Subject: Report on live webinar conducted for CBSE schools by ministry of
education for ECO CLUB
On The Ministry of Education, Government of India organized a live youtube session for ECO-
CLUBS on the topic “Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE ”. The live event was participated by over
60stakeholders, ministers, department of education, CBSE officials and CBSE schools from across
the country. The session began with an overview of the portal's objectives, emphasizing its role in
promoting environmentally responsible behaviour among students. The portal serves as a
centralized platform for uploading and monitoring environmental activities conducted by schools
across the country.
The purpose of the session was to create awareness about the restructured initiative “Eco
Clubs for Mission LiFE” and provide schools with the guidance to implement eco-conscious
activities aligned with the National Education Policy and Mission LiFE goals. The mission
embraces a sustainable lifestyle by prioritizing eco-friendly choices in their everyday routines,
empowering individuals to lead a greener life. Key Highlight of the session was the seven themes
of mission Life explained thoroughly.

The Main Objectives of Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE were given as:
Sensitize children to environmental and climate change issues.

Involve students in environment-friendly activities.
Foster a sense of responsibility towards nature.
A dedicated website was launched: https://ecoclubs.education.gov.in The portal provided:
Themes and activity ideas, Publications and circulars, Online reporting formats for club activities
and finally Technical support options .The presentation slides and portal walkthrough during the
webinar visually explained The portal’s design, features, and user navigation.
