Khalsa Sanstha Divas – The Birth of Khalsa:

On 13th April 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru, founded the Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib. He called upon Sikhs to stand up against tyranny and injustice and introduced the five beloved ones – Panj Pyare – who were the first to be initiated into the Khalsa

On this occasion Akal Academy ghugg organised special assembly in which students recited shabad ,poems Kavishri . One student delivered a speech on Khalsa panth sthapna and baisakhi. Then vice principal Mrs. Rajbir Kaur shared previous views related to this day . At the end Principal ma’am Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur Highlighted the importance of this day And inspired the children to follow their path. The program ended with Ardaas . After a long break students recited 206 sukhmani Sahib.240 chopai sahib and 162 Jap ji sahib path. 20 bhog of sehaj Path were completed at Gurudwara Sahib Ghugg. At the end degh were distributed among students and staff.
