Mothers Day Celebration
Mothers: the most beautiful word on the lips of Mankind.
Mothers are a priceless gift from God and a perfect amalgamation of love, devotion and sacrifice.
The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable. The Primary Wing of Akal Academy Kajri
celebrated the special occasion of Mother’s Day on 10th May 2025 with great fervor and
enthusiasm.
In the spirit of the day, the learners of Grade V made the day special by creating heartwarming
plays and choreography which was beautifully compiled by their teachers for the wonderful
mothers. Our middle Primary learners also made splendid mother’s day greeting cards for their
mothers which was organised by Ajay House.
The mothers of Grade V students were especially invited for a celebration in school with their
bundles of joy.
The event commenced with the address of Mrs Harjinder Kaur wherein the School Principal Mrs.
Simran Kaur Thind welcomed the special guests of the day, the lovely mothers.
The Primary Wing students presented Mothers’ Day cultural program to
Express their love for their beloved mothers. Various fun-filled games and
activities like Balloon and Glass, ball throw , one minute show etc. were organized in which the
mothers participated .The winners were awarded by the Principal for their
outstanding performances. To recreate the most memorable memories for the mothers open
games were organised. The programme concluded on a joyful note, where mothers were called
on mike to share their views. As per the tradition of Akal Academy all mothers were offered tea
and snacks.
To make the event successful all primary teachers contributed a lot. Ms Chhavi, Mrs Jasveer Kaur,
Ms Monika, Mrs Sukhjeet, Mrs Savita, Mrs Vandana, Mrs Sunimol Philip and Mrs Navneet Kaur
were present. To capture this special moment of happiness and emotion Mr Philip Xavier, media
incharge was appointed.
The Mother’s Day celebration was indeed a memorable event to witness how precious Mother’s
unconditional love is for each of us.
