Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan Observes Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji with Deep Devotion
Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan, under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, observed the Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji with deep reverence and spiritual devotion.
The commemorative event began with the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib and Chaupai Sahib by students and staff in remembrance of the fifth Sikh Guru’s supreme sacrifice. This was followed by a soulful rendition of ‘Har Jas Kirtan’, performed by the students, creating an atmosphere of peace and devotion.
To honor the Guru’s legacy of selfless service, the students organized a Chhabeel (refreshing sweet water stall) and served it to all passersby with humility and love. They also distributed prasad and chana langar as an act of sewa (selfless service), embodying the values taught by Guru Sahib.
Principal Madam Anuradha Babbar addressed the gathering and spoke about the profound sacrifice of Guru Arjan Dev Ji. She highlighted how Guru Sahib’s martyrdom is a timeless example of courage, patience, and unwavering commitment to truth. Madam encouraged the students to follow the path shown by Guru Sahib and embody his teachings in their daily lives.
The event served as a spiritual learning experience for the students, instilling in them the values of resilience, peace, humility, and service—the very essence of Sikhism.
