On 15 October 2019 A.A Chak Mander celebrated Gur Purab Of Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Ramdas Ji. We stared with Sukhmani Sahib path. All the students and teachers did a path in darbar sahib and library. After that students did Shabad kirtan. Some students recited hymes. Music teacher Mr.Simarjit Kaur gave a speech on Guruji’S life. Shri Guru Ramdas Ji was the first guru of Sikh religion and son-in-law of third guru Shri Guru Amardas Ji. His first name was Bhai Jetha Ji. Guruji impressed by his Sewa and Simran so, he chooses him as the fourth Sikh guru. He wrote many Gurbani shabads. Then, Mandeep Kaur of grade 8th delivers a beautiful speech on the guru’s life with the poem. At last students did Anand Sahib after that Ms. Simarjit Kaur music teacher did ardass and took hukamnama. After that, the student did a Waheguru jap while the distribution of prasad. It was a successful religious event held in our school. Principal Mrs.Moninderpal Kaur Sandhu praised the efforts of all students and motivated students to live a life like our guru’s. Always be devotional toward studies and religion. Respect Sikhi, Guru’s and its norms and rules, Dhan Shri Guru Ramdas Ji.
