The aim of this activity was to improve the grammar skill of the students and to increase the confidence level of the students. The title of this activity was “Spelling Bee and Public Speaking Competition (Extempore)”. Spelling is the combination of alphabetic letters to form a written word. Spelling is the ability to spell words in the correct way. It also improves the grammar of the students. This activity was organized on Saturday(November 2, 2019) after a long break. Students of class Nursery to 5th participated in Spelling Bee Activity and 6th to 8th participated in Public Speaking Competition. This activity was organized house-wise. Spelling Bee activity was conducted by class in charges and Public Speaking competition was conducted by English department. In Extempore all the students were very confident to speak on their topics. The topics were- 1. Why Junk food is bad? 2. Why the outdoor game is good? 3. Child Labour 4. Health is Wealth 5. Importance of Discipline 6. Why books are better than the internet? 7. Bicycle: The best mode of transport. All the houses spoke very well. At last Atul’s house was in the 1st position, Ajay house was in 2nd position and Abhay house was in 3rd position. Our Respected Principal madam appreciated all the students for their good performance.
