Goal: To cultivate discernment, awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in the individual.
Yoga is like music. Yoga is a light which once lit will never dim, the better you practice, the brighter you flame.
International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 every year after PM Mr. Narendra Modi, during his UNGA speech, proposed it. He said, “Yoga embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; harmony between man and nature. Yoga is the journey of the self, to the self and through the self.”
As being a part of IB World School, we strive to achieve good health, inner peace and harmony by using Yoga, meditation and spiritual development. Yoga is an art. Through this, complex diseases can be overcome and healthy life can be lived. It lets people discover the sense of oneness with you, the world and nature. Love yourself first, because that’s who you will spend the rest of your life with. So keep your body and mind healthy.
The theme for International Yoga Day 2020 is Yoga for Health – Yoga at Home. This year’s theme for the International Yoga Day in India is Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family. Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down. So here are our little learners with yoga activities.
