PYP Exhibition
Goal: To share knowledge that has been developed across the world, including the solutions for the threats human kind is facing.
Grade 5 students at Akal Academy Baru Sahib organized a virtual PYP exhibition on 10th October 2020 to share the knowledge about pandemics and shared safety measures to be followed to overcome the challenges.
During the inquiry process, students got an opportunity to demonstrate independence, explore multiple perspectives and to take responsibility for their own learning.
This was a virtual platform to unite the teachers, parents and other members of the school community in a collaborative experience. Students selected and used a variety of strategies and resources like the internet, books, newspapers, interviews and surveys to gather information and developed the traits of a principled learner by citing the sources of collected information.
COVID 19 has completely shaken the lives of all including children who were always happy to go to school without any fear and anxiety. Grade 5 students raised awareness and encouraged viewers to take all the necessary measures to protect themselves from the virus and also to help the most vulnerable.
