Celebration of Shaheedi Purav of Shri Guru Arjun Dev ji at Akal Academy Bilga on 30-05-2018
Shaheedi Purav of Shri Guru Arjun Dev ji was celebrated at Akal Academy Bilga on 30-05-2018 with religious fervour and gaiety. After Nitname bani was recited by students with lot of devotion. Even Bani was recited by the tiny tots of Nursery class. They recited 210 Mool Manter. Students and teachers also recited 370 sukhmani sahib 610 jpujI swihb and 910 cOpeI swihb paath . After recitation of bani melodious shabad jpa ijn Arjn dyv gurU…………was recited by students of IX class. Following this Dhadi waran was presented by students of VIII class. Then Madam Gurjit Kaur threw light on the life and history of Guru Arjan Dev ji who sacrificed his life against the tyranny and oppression of the ruler who used to put pressure to change his religion.
Thereafter cold and sweet water was served to one and all throughout the day.5 Students & 2 teachers completed Sehaj paath which they have started last year at school.
