Shaheedi Divas Gurpurab of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji
Religious Programme was organized in Akal Academy, Holi (Barara) to commemorate the great sacrifice of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji on 14 June ,2021 i.e. Thursday. The fifth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Arjun Dev Ji, was the first of the two Gurus martyred in Sikh religion.Guru Arjun Dev Ji completed the construction of the Golden Temple in Amritsar and also compiled the Adi Granth, the religious scripture of the Sikhs encompassing spiritual poetry and musical ragas. It was installed at Harmandir Sahib. The students of Akal Academy, Holi (Barara) recited Shabad and Kirtan. They actively participated in Guru Itihas , Poem and Speech Competitions.
