celebration of Independence day in the Academy “It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. ” To mark this day Akal Academy Nawan pind Sujanpur Celebrated Independence Day with great fervor and zest in a mesmerizing way. The Principal Rupinder Kaur hoisted the national flag in the school ground sharp at 10:30 am. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem followed by National Song with nobody moved honoring it.
