The Independence Day was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at our school. The function on this occasion began in the afternoon of the 13th August in the campus of Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna which beautifully decorated with flowers and festoons. . A well-decorated platform with a pandal was erected for the occasion. Mrs. Ravinder Kaur,the principal of the school presided over the function, which began with recitation of a shabad.A number of a patriotic songs were sung by the students of Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna .The tiny tots of the school performed mersmersing acts.National flags were made by the students with the help of colourful paper, pulses
etc. The laudable principal ma’am, staff members as well as the students sang our National Anthem. Then the students sang patriotic song ,delivered speeches and recited poems befitting the occasion about the significance of the day. At last, the worthy principal made a stirring speech. She asked and advised everyone to love our
motherland and fight against evil forces. This was followed by a vote of thanks proposed by the the staff members as well as the students of academy. The function came to a close with a closing song.
