Trees are of invaluable importance to our environment and to human well being. They give us clean water to drink, air to breathe, shade and food to humans, animals and plants. They provide habitats for numerous species of fauna and flora, firewood for cooking and heat, materials for buildings and places of spiritual, cultural and recreational importance. Akal Academy Bhunsla took a great initiative to plant trees in the school campus. This is an important step of afforestation to maintain the ecological balance of nature. With this aim 340 saplings were supplied in the school by management which were planted by students of classes III to X with the help of gardener, under the guidance of their class incharges. Plantation drive was begun by honourable Ms.Gurjeet Kaur, principal Akal Academy Bhunslaby planting first sapling with her hands in the school campus.
