Teej festival is a yearly celebration that marks the advent of monsoon or sawan. It is also called the festival of swings, arrival of rain and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Akal Academy Reeth Kheri celebrated Teej with great joy and fervor on the School campus. Students (Junior Classes) came dressed in traditional Punjabi attires. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej students brought mouth watering dishes like Allo-Tikki, Kheer Poora, Bread Pakoda, Kachoiris etc. The first floor displayed traditional items (Antiques) like Charkha, Phulkari, Parrandas, Traditional utensils and attended with great celebration.
