Spelling bee competition and public speaking competition were held in
Akal Academy Gomti with a great enthusiasm. The students participated
in these competitions excitedly.
The spelling bee competition was organised for the primary
classes. In this competition the teachers showed the students the
different different flash cards of jumble words, pictures and fill the
gaps to ask the spellings of the words. The participants recognised
the pictures and told the spellings of the words they also identified
the jumble words and put them in correct order and and spelt
correctly.
There was an another competition Public speaking was held for
senior classes. In this competition the participants were provided the
various topics to speak. They expressed their views on given topics
freely. All the participants delivered their views fluently and in a
effective way. The competition among the participants was really
interesting and tough. At last three speakers were selected For first
three positions. They are,
1st- Gurnoor Kaur ( VIII A)
2nd- Palakdeep Kaur ( XI A)
3rd- Duvinder Kaur ( VIII B)
The competitions were held under the supervision of Mr. Pravesh
Sharma , Mrs. Amandeep Kaur ,Mr. Naim Khan and Mr. Suraj Pal Singh
