Painting allows children an educational opportunity that is also fun and exciting. Painting aids children to acquire hand-eye coordination, an important skill in their age. This is developed while they learn to paint the parts that they see; making sure their hand movement is at par with their vision.
A painting evening was organized by the Visual Art Department for the students of the PYP block in the second week of April as the weekend activity. Three best pieces were selected from each class and prizes were distributed to the winners.
