“Khalsa Panth Sthapna Divas” has tremendous religious significance. Sikhs celebrate it as the birth of ‘Khalsa Panth’. The term ‘Khalsa’ means sovereign or free. It was on this day in 1699, when the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the Khalsa Panth.
Akal Academy Ghugg celebrated “Khalsa Panth Sthapna Divas “and “Vaisakhi” on 13 th April 2023. On this occasion students recited shabad and different poems with instruments. Students also delivered speech . They participated in Inter House Dastar Bandi Competition In which Abhay House got first position,Amul house got Second position and Ajay and Atul house got third position. At the end respected principal ma’am Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur shared her views on the importance of Khalsa Panth and Vaisakhi.Program ended with Anand Sahib and Aardaas . Degh was distributed among students at the end.
