International Mother Language Day was celebrated in Akal Academy Holi Barara on 22 February,2024. International Mother Language Day celebrates linguistic diversity, promoting the preservation and recognition of mother tongues worldwide. It commemorates the Language Movement in Bangladesh and emphasises the importance of multilingualism for cultural identity, inclusivity, and peace.Mother tongue education supports learning, literacy and the acquisition of additional languages.
The students recited the poems related to Mother Tongue Punjabi. They delivered speech regarding the importance of Punjabi Language.
