April 18, 2024 Akal academy Kollianwali here celebrated Baisakhi With enthusiasm on Friday. The Programme began with a shabad. The students threw light on the importance of Baisakhi through a speech. The school arranged different kinds of competitions such as Dastar tying, Poem recitation and Shabad Gayan. A grand exhibition was held depicting the Punjabi Culture. Kindergarten Children were dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional attires. While speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Maninder Kaur, Principal of the school, said Baisakhi was not only a harvest festival but also on an auspicious day as on this day Guru Gobind Singh had established “Khalsa Panth”.
