Inter-House Mock Parliament
The Inter-House Mock Parliament at Akal Academy Dhanal Kalan, held on August 3, 2024, was an inspiring and educational experience for the students. Organized by the Social Science Department, the event aimed to give students a practical understanding of parliamentary procedures and the functioning of a democratic government. The teachers on duty, Mr. Swatanter Gautam and Ms. Lakhvir Kaur, guided the proceedings.Students from the four houses—Amul, Atul, Abhai, and Ajai—actively participated, taking on roles such as Prime Minister, Speaker, Members of Parliament, and opposition leaders. The session began with a formal introduction by the Speaker, who set the tone for a respectful and orderly debate.
