English Debate competition
On 2 August 2024, Akal Academy Mayapatti held its Interhouse English Debate competition on the topic “Are Coaching Centers Really Helpful?” The event showcased the impressive talent of our students and aimed to foster critical thinking, public speaking skills, and teamwork.
The competition saw active participation from four houses: Ajay House, Abhay House, Amul House, and Akal House. Each house was represented by two members, one arguing in favor of the motion and the other against it.
At the end of the spirited debate, Abhay House emerged as the winner of the English Debate competition.After the fierce debate, the winning house was acknowledged in the assembly. The winners were honored, and the message to all students was to participate in every activity more enthusiastically.
