Rally Against Drugs
A rally against drugs was organized by Akal Academy
Raipur Pir Baksh Wala on Friday, 12th July 2024, in
Bholath under the leadership of Principal Sonu Sharma Ji.
This rally was initiated with the support of Bholath's SHO
Baljinder Singh Ji, Inspector Davinder Singh Ji, and Sub-
Inspector Raghbir Singh Ji. Students from grades six to
twelve and teachers participated in this rally. The rally
started from Nadala bus stop in Bholath and passed through
Bholath's petrol pump, police station, Bhogpur bus stop ,
and Gurdwara Sant Sar Sahib, finally ending back at
Nadala bus stop, Bhulath. During the rally, children chanted
slogans against drugs and performed a play in front of
Bhulath police station highlighting the adverse effects of
drug abuse. The primary aim of this rally was to raise
awareness about the harmful impacts of drugs and to
motivate people to stay away from them. The committee of
Gurdwara Sant Sar Sahib Bholath warmly welcomed the
rally and arranged a community meal (langar) for the
children. The residents of the area highly appreciated the
rally.
