National Space Day

National Space Day, celebrated annually on August 23, is a day to recognize and
celebrate India's advancements in space exploration and honour the remarkable
achievements of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). On this day, India
marks the anniversary of the Chandrayaan-3 mission's historic soft landing of the
Vikram Lander on the moon, which occurred on August 23, 2023.
Nationwide celebrations are being held on this day to celebrate India’s
achievements in space exploration and honour the dedicated scientists and
engineers of ISRO. Schools across the country are also organizing various contests
to help students engage with and appreciate the wonders of space. Speech on
National Space Day (or ISRO Day) is going to be one of the activities in schools for
students where students will get an opportunity to express their enthusiasm and
gratitude for the inspirational work of ISRO's dedicated scientists.On this day,
activities were conducted in the school regarding National Space Day in which the
children participated with great enthusiasm. The children participated in poster
making, quiz and model making in which many children performed well in each
activity. A lot of children participated in this and made working models out of
which one working model was showing the solar system and how the solar system
works. Some children also participated in the quiz competition in which many
questions were asked to the children regarding Chandrayaan-3, Chandrayaan-2
and space day.
Many children participated in the painting competition in which children depicted
space, our solar system and rockets through painting.
