Akal Academy Mander Dona celebrated Grandparents Day
On October 25, 2024, Akal Academy Mander Dona celebrated Grandparents Day with joy and enthusiasm. The event, organized by Kalidhar Trust and led by President Dr. Baba Davinder Singh Ji, featured vibrant performances from students in Nursery to Grade 3.
The celebration began with a heartfelt Shabad, followed by a warm welcome song from LKG students. Nursery and UKG showcased a creative costume show, while UKG students performed an energetic dance. Grade 2 presented a skit on the generational gap, and Grade 7 girls delivered a moving mime about the importance of grandparents.
Engaging games like Musical Chairs brought grandparents and grandchildren together. Chief Guest Sardar Ranbir Singh Ji attended, and Principal Ms. Manjit Kaur Mahal emphasized grandparents’ vital role in children’s lives, quoting Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
The day ended with refreshments, strengthening community bonds and celebrating the love and wisdom of grandparents.
