Bandi-Chhorh Divas / Diwali
Akal Academy Kollianwali, celebrates Bandi-chhorh Divas / Diwali on 28th Oct, 2024. On the occasion of Bandi-chhorh Divas / Diwali, a special assembly was conducted. Shabads were recited; the student of 7th grade delivered the speech on the history of ‘Bandi-chhorh Diwas’; the role play was performed by the students of grade 1st and grade 4th. Through role play, they delivered the message to celebrate green Diwali. Different competitions were held in the classes such as ‘Rangoli’ Making and class decoration. The interesting thing was the Rangoli making competition. It was made by using real things. Mrs. Maninder Kaur, Headmistress of the school wished the students and asked them to take pledge for ‘No to Crackers’.
