On October 26, our school organized a special event to celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas in the school
premises. The event was filled with activities that aimed to highlight the significance of this historical
day and inspire students with its teachings.
The program began with a wonderful act presented by the students of Grade 9th B, depicting the story
of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji and the significance of Bandi Chhor Divas. Their performance was impactful
and resonated well with the audience.
Students from Grade 6A and 7B delivered an insightful speech in Punjabi, explaining the history and
relevance of Bandi Chhor Divas in the Sikh tradition. Their words left a lasting impression on everyone
present.
The event continued with a soulful Shabad Kirtan by the students of Grade 7B, creating a spiritually
uplifting atmosphere. Their harmonious voices and dedication added a beautiful touch to the
celebration.
An English speech was then delivered by Mrs. Anita, who eloquently explained the essence of Bandi
Chhor Divas, connecting it to universal values of freedom, compassion, and unity. Her words were
inspiring and appreciated by both students and faculty.
The program was skillfully hosted by Mrs. Pritpal Kaur, whose efforts made the event flow smoothly. Her
presence added warmth and energy to the event.
To conclude the program, the school principal delivered a heartfelt closing speech, emphasizing the
